About Alexander Smith, DPT
Alexander earned a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology-Exercise Physiology from Kansas State University while interning with K-State Athletics strength and conditioning. He earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of Kansas Medical Center while working in private-sector sports performance training.
Prior to joining LMH Health, Alexander completed his sports residency with UW Health and Badger Athletic Performance Lab, where he performed ACL-reconstruction and quadriceps performance research on University of Wisconsin athletes. After residency, he continued working at UW Health, specializing in post-operative knee rehab, while also serving as the physical therapist and emergency medical provider for a semi-professional basketball team, the Madison Mavericks.
