Danny Larson, DPT
About Danny Larson, DPT
Danny is a graduate of South Dakota State University, where he earned a bachelors degree in athletic training. He went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Des Moines University and completed sports residency training at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Danny is a board-certified Sports Certified Specialist (SCS) and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) interested in treating athletes involved in both field and court sports.
He is actively involved with the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy (AASPT), completing research reviews for the Sports Performance Enhancement special interest group, and serves on the Board of Directors for the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) – Kansas Chapter. Danny also leads research efforts for physical therapy at LMH Health, emphasizing return-to-sport testing and decision making.
