About Dan O’Connell, ATC
Dan O’Connell is embarking on a new adventure as the athletic trainer at Basehor-Linwood High School. He will provide injury prevention and management to all BLHS student-athletes throughout the year and will cover home football, baseball and soccer games.
A native of Lawrence, Dan earned his bachelor’s degree in athletic training and his master’s in health, physical education and recreation from Emporia State University. Before coming to Basehor-Linwood, Dan worked as the head athletic trainer at Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina.
